Asciano and the Lauretana's Route

€10 per pax (children 5-12 yeras old  €5, under 5 free)
Duration about 1h.Meeting point at Tourist Office h16:40 (corso Matteotti, 124). Every Wednesday (tour avaible in other days and hours on request, min 8pax.).

The price includes: guided tour of Asciano and of Palazzo Corboli museum (entrance included).
Notes: The tour is max in two languages chosen by the first people who book. The tour is  available  only if there are reservations.

 

Program
The visits begins with at the Palazzo Corboli Museum. Here you can find many works of art created by the greatest Sienese artists from the 14th to the 16th century: Ambrogio Lorenzetti, the Master of the Observance, Matteo di Giovanni, Rutilio Manetti and precious wooden sculptures such as those of Giovanni Pisano and Francesco di Valdambrino together with a collection of Etruscan finds coming from the various archaeological complexes in the area. Later  a walk along Corso Matteotti (the ancient part of Via Lauretana inside the town walls) and the visit the medieval Piazza del Grano will lalloe us to discover the main monuments of “Il Paese del Garbo” (the town of courtesy, politeness).
